Cameroon: UN Tells Prof Ghogomou’s Delegation To Implement Strategies to Reunite The English Speaking Regions In Frank Talk.
The Cameroonian delegation to the United Nations have been told to implement measures to build confidence between the two English Speaking Regions in Cameroon. The emphasis was laid by the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Amina J. Mohammed.
She was speaking after a tete a’ tete with the Cameroonian delegation Tuesday, led by the Director of Cabinet at the Prime Minister’s Office Prof Ghogomou Paul, accompanied by Prof Elvis Ngolle Ngolle.
The UN diplomat, while clapping for the efforts being put in place by the government to handle the current stalemate in the English speaking regions, openly reiterated the need for human rights be respected in the entire process in which persons are being prosecuted in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon.
