The Presbyterian Church in Cameroon through the Communication Secretary has issued a release counteracting allegations of the closure of all PCC Schools in Cameroon.
In the release taking rounds on social media recently, Rev Mokoko Thomas, made it crystal clear that all the allegations spread on social media purportedly carrying the signature of the “Spiritual Leader” of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon, the Right Rev Fonki Samuel Forba is untrue he reiterates. It reads, “False information has been circulating on social media, purporting that the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon, to have ordered for the closure of PCC schools. Be informed that such information is fake as the Moderator has not ordered for closure of any schools. For authentic information about the resumption of schools, contact the Education Secretaries of the PCC or the Teachers and Head teachers of the various schools. The perpetrators of false and misleading information are called upon to repent”.

The PCC Communication Department on behalf of the Proprietor of schools of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC) invites all Pastors of the PCC, to sensitize their Christians through the congregational announcements, on the matter of school resumption come September 2017. .
Cognizance of the fact that the reopening calendar is already out, Examination Classes will begin on the 19th of August, the Old or Returning Students on the 27th of August 2017 and 1st of September 2017- Reopening for Form One and all new students. Measures have been put in place to guarantee security, catch-up classes and discounts for those who paid fees last year. That PCC faithful should continue to show patronage of our institutions especially during this period All the churches in Cameroon including the PCC, are urging their faithful worshippers to help the children resume school come this academic year 2017/2018 as their education is a price and a right we cannot afford to waste.
