Radio presenter fired for calling Zuma ‘a zombie’

Durban – A presenter from Lotus Radio FM has been fired from his post for calling Zuma ‘a zombie’.

The public broadcaster confirmed on Monday 3rd of July that the Lotus Radio FM presenter Ravi Govender was fired following his facebook post insulting the South African President.

SABC spokes person Kaizer Kganyago said the presenter had soiled his office and tarnished SABC.

Govender called the President a ‘zombie’ on his facebook post and says he wrote that out of anger.

The station manager and Govender himself declined to comment on the issue.

Note should be taken that he wrote this  following the opening of the ANC’s 5th Policy Conference, which is currently underway at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg.

“I posted what I posted on Facebook out of anger. I should have known better. He sounded [while delivering his speech] dead to me, no feelings, no punctuation at all,”

Govender had said.
