Lesotho helped heal UK’s royal Prince Harry after the death of his mother

The death of Princess Diana lead Prince Harry to discover his place in the world in Africa, the landlocked kingdom of Lesotho in southern Africa. It was there, that the young Prince overcame the trauma of losing his mother.

In his journey of healing, the prince made many friends including an orphan boy in Lesotho, Mutsu, but it was Prince Seesio of Lesotho, who also lost his mother at an early age like Harry, that encouraged Harry’s ambition of helping people according to the Telegraph.

Prince Harry & Prince Seeiso co-founded a charity centre called Sentebale meaning ‘forget me not’ in 2006. This was to help thousands of children and young people affected by HIV/Aids in the country.

‘For me I have this love of Africa that will never disappear… and I hope that it carries on with my children as well.’ Says Harry.
