“You shouldn’t have asked why I didn’t cut the cake, you should have asked why I didn’t speak!”
The freshly installed young parliamentarian of Uganda gets angry over an article written by a popular news paper of Uganda – ‘The new vision’ which Bobi Wine consider their article as an insult to his personality and his followers as he published on his facebook account.
I quote “I write in response to your article of today entitled “Bobi Wine declines to cut cake with Mayiga” which seemed intended to portray me as an indisciplined and disrespectful leader WHICH YOU KNOW IS NOT TRUE.”
To put some light on the matter, Bobi Wine was invited to attend the Gayaza Junior School’s Day to celebrate the it’s 106 years. He affirms the occasion went on well and Charles Peter Mayiga was honour with whom he had a cordial chat with according to him.
He concider the newspaper biased in their judgment saying he just left the occasion without cutting the cake as if he was given the opportunity to.
Note should be taken that Bobi Wine is the youngest in the Ugandan parliament and he knows what all the youths of the country are going through since has once been there. He has been massively supported by his fans and family. His humility has opened the doors of a Leader and Fighter.
There is no virtue I treasure as much as humility. I have always respected my tradition and its leadership,I still do. I thank you.
