Anglophone Crisis: Pr. Ivo Tambo kidnapped and 100 million ransom demanded by the kidnappers

Another kidnapping of authority by unidentified individuals. Professor Ivo Leke Tambo, PCA of GCE Board was abducted this Saturday along with 35 other people in Lebialem at the place called Fondem in Alou district by unidentified people.




According to information received by the editor, the new president of the board of directors of the General Certificate of Education of Cameroon (Council of the GCE) recently appointed by Paul Biya, almost 2 months ago, was at a peaceful march thanks to Paul Biya for appointing Paul Tsong Minister Delegate for MINEPAT in charge of planning. Hard to say for now, the place where the PCA of GCE Board and former SG at Minsec was driven. The identity of the other 35 abductees also remains to be clarified.

100 million F CFA of ransom
Kidnapped by individuals claiming Ambazonia, a video of Pr. Leke Tambo broadcast by these individuals circulates on the networks with the teacher without clothes and sitting on the floor. The supposed ambazonians through this video, claim indeed this kidnapping and ask from the Government

a sum of 100 million CFA francs.
He was appointed by decree on Monday, January 29th by PAul Biya. He is from the Lebialem Division of the Southwest Region in 1951.
Graduated from the State University of New York in 1980 after obtaining a master’s degree and later a PhD in Curriculum and Teaching. Promoted to Full Professor in 2004, Ivo Leke Tambo replaced Professor Peter Abety.
