The Cameroon football federation FECAFOOT has just announced the automatic termination of partnership agreements with the US-based company Potomac, which was to construct the Bamenda Olympic stadium.
This announcement was made after an executive committee meeting that took place on Friday, July 14 at the Hilton hotel Yaounde. According to the sith resolution on the communiqué,the partnership agreement between FECAFOOT and Potmoc which was responsible for the construction of 2500 capacity stadiums in the towns of of Bamenda, Bagante Bafia and Sangmalima has been terminated. Fecafooot however has not given any reason for the termination of this contract.
It should however be noted that work had already begun on the said stadium with the construction of the dressing room. The reason as to why only the construction of the Bamenda stadium has left many people wondering.
