Barely two years of existence and already successful. According to Integration of November 6, 2017, the cement produced by the Cameroonian subsidiary of the Nigerian multinational for only two years is increasingly sought in construction sites in the country.
According to Maurice Diekem, commercial manager of the cement plant owned by the wealthy Nigerian businessman Aliko Dangote, the cement plant already accounts for more than 45% of the Cameroonian market share. Indeed, Dongote Cement Cameroon plans to produce at least 1.3 million tonnes of cement before the end of the current year. In Cameroon, only CIMENCAM from the Lafarge-Holcim group is doing better with an annual production estimated at 1.6 million tonnes.
